At first whiff of opening the package you can smell the essence that it’s going to give. It’s definitely a layered incense which I love, while others are one note. Not this one, once the fire starts, I got an immediate smell of of an old burned down church in Mexico that I use to go to when I was little, it brought back so many memories! Then it transitions to this beautiful smell which I believe is the cedarwood, frankincense and sandlewood and I just fell in love right then and there. Thank you so much for this one I love it and will probably only continue to buy Targa, it’s my favorite!
Blackbird incense is perfect any time, but especially when the neighbors do what they think is "cooking," but everyone else calls "time to play 'guess the roadkill' again." I can bring out Targa and relax, knowing that whatever rancid stench wafts my way, Targa is there to smell fantastic. As long as the neighbors keep fouling the air with BBQ skunk or squashed gopher a la unwashed socks, Targa will have my back, er, nose... always.
