Made from dense 100% Japanese cotton twill and made in America, the Foss Tugger Chino is an incredibly versatile pant. Because our Blackbird chinos are so durable and rugged, you can wear them to work in, but because they're so well cut and the colors are so good, they work perfectly in the office or a nice restaurant. The slightly higher waist looks great with a shirt tucked in, but still functions well with the shirt left untucked. The fit on the chinos is comfortably slim with tapering just above the leg opening to trim down the legs and make them look longer. The inseam on the pants runs long to create the perfect stacking effect around the calf and ankle. Seamed pockets provide a formal look while still being very practical and easy to use. Gorgeous horn buttons make-up the button-fly.

We worked really hard to create a fit and style that will fit into any wardrobe. Inspired by Seattle's famous Foss tugboats and Blackbird owner Nicole Miller's grandfather who worked on their radios, Grandpa Leonard and his cronies wore high quality work pants like these because of their comfort, stain resistance, and they held tough over years-and-years of dangerous and dirty tugboat work. Nicole selected just the right rich, dark shades to match what her grandfather wore and to coordinate perfectly into any closet.
