Onyx Pearl is an oud fragrance that's truly refined. The natural oud note is absolutely the most prominent player in the fragrance, which is so enjoyable in this specific package because the quality of this oud note is as terribly sweet and rich as an oud note can be. It is not fecal, it is woody and sharp, but what's above average is that it has the characteristic sweetness only found in very high quality ouds that gives it that mystical, spiritual quality. You can seriously sit and smell this perfume entranced for hours picking up little twists and turns in the fragrance. A leather note helps bolster the edge of the oud, making it intoxicatingly crisp. Oriental flowers, patchouli, and amber help bolster that sensational oud sweetness. Heliotrope, Australian sandalwood, and white musk help give balance as the perfume dries down to ensure it doesn't become too strong as to offend, but continues living and becoming more refined over time.
