Arctic Jade smells like someone's dream of the scent of air on a snowy, sunny day in the arctic. There's remnants of what are commonly considered to be "clean cotton" type notes, but burying that beneath a medley of incredibly subtle, soft yet crisp non-specific floral/fruity notes creates something completely unique. Brazilian orange and cranberry in the background create that very quietly fruity air, providing depth and sweetness. Those two top notes together with the White Frezia give a twinkling quality to the perfume. Jasmine, Ylang, and Framboise with a crisp edge of cedar wood make-up the heart of the perfume, giving floral characteristics to the scent without overpowering the rest of the composition. You can fairly easily smell the flowers, but they serve primarily to accent the musk accord rather than go the route of cloying floral. Ambrette, sandalwood, and bourbon vanilla are the most prominent elements in the fragrance, with ambrette creating the foundation for the musk effect of the fragrance, sandalwood softening it up, and with vanilla making it sweeter and more powdery. A touch of patchouli links back to the orange and cranberry in the top of the fragrance to create an attractive, wholly unique dissonance within the perfume that gives it the quality of being completely different from any other fragrance. The final product of all these notes is quite clean but also very unusual for a clean perfume, offering almost a divine or otherworldly level of cleanliness that's incredibly pleasant but also eerily unfamiliar.
